These terms cover your use of Birth Plan Builder - the free birth plan tool and the paid Birth Decisions Research Guide. By using the site, you agree to them. We have kept them short and readable.

This is not medical advice

This is the most important part. Birth Plan Builder and the Birth Decisions Research Guide are for information and education only. They are not medical advice, and we are not your healthcare providers. Nothing here replaces a conversation with a qualified doctor or midwife who knows your history. Always discuss your birth preferences and any decisions with your own provider. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Using the tool

  • You may use Birth Plan Builder to create birth plans for your personal use.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for reviewing your plan with your care team.
  • Please do not misuse the site - for example, by attempting to break its security, scraping it, overloading it, or using it to harm others.
  • If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

The Research Guide and payments

The Birth Decisions Research Guide is a digital product sold for a one-time price. Payment is processed by Gumroad, and their terms also apply to your purchase. Because it is a digital download you get access to immediately, we handle refunds case by case - if you are not satisfied, email support@birthplanbuilder.com and we will work it out with you.

Your content and ours

The birth plans you create belong to you. The site itself - its design, text, templates, and the Research Guide - belongs to Birth Plan Builder and is provided for your personal use. Please do not resell or redistribute the Research Guide.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the tool running, but we provide it "as is" and cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may update, change, or discontinue features over time. If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we will update the effective date above.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Birth Plan Builder is not liable for decisions made based on information from the tool or the guide, or for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Your birth decisions are yours to make with your care team.
